Conditions, Policies and Procedures for Occupancy
Thank you for making your reservation with Bear Country Lodging. Please read carefully the occupying policies listed below and contact our office at 1-800-811-4588 or Email: info@bearcountry.ca if there are any questions regarding your reservation.
CHECK-IN: For all check-in please proceed to your OFFICE at Unit #47 Crystal Forest. For late check-in due to travel or other delays, please call ahead to confirm arrangements with our staff. Please note: dependant upon the availability of housecleaning staff, a pre-arranged, late check-out time may be possible for a fee of $50. A credit card imprint will be taken upon check-in for key and damage deposit. Check-In: 4pm - 8pm Check-Out: 10am
DEPOSIT POLICY:An advance deposit equal to one night is due at time of booking to guarantee reservations, which is non-refundable. Final payment is automatically charged to your credit card on file 30 days prior to arrival. For reservations made within 30 days of your arrival date, full payment is required at time of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY:If you cancel your reservation MORE than 30 days prior to your expected arrival date, an amount equal to your advance payment is forfeited. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your arrival will result in forfeiture of full amount.
PARKING:Bear Country Lodging guarantees parking only for one vehicle per unit rented. Additional parking is limited and in some cases may require a nightly fee.
HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE:Prior to your arrival the property is thoroughly cleaned and supplied with fresh linens, towels, soaps, paper products, etc. Our rates do not include daily maid service. On Stays over 7 nights a towel/linen change will be provided upon request. Bringing your own beach towels is recommended for hot tub use, if the unit you booked has one, or for use at the Sports Center.
EARLY DEPARTURE:The guest is responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of the guests' actual arrival or departure.
PETS/SMOKING:Bear County Lodging is proud to offer its guests non-smoking accommodations. This policy is strictly adhered to, and any breach of this policy will result in additional charges. NO PETS ALLOWED. However, a limited number of pet-units are available only upon request.
BBQ's:As all our units at Bear Country Lodging are individually owned, not every unit is equipped with a gas barbeque. It is recommended checking on the unit descriptions if your unit has one.
SECURITY POLICY/DAMAGES:An open, signed credit card impression (MasterCard or Visa ONLY) is required upon check in to cover any damages, excessive housekeeping costs or miscellaneous charges accrued by guests. This credit card will be authorized and remain on file for the duration of your stay and further until we are able to inspect the property after your departure. Tenant is liable for any damages to the premises and to furnishings, equipment and household items therein which occur during the renter's occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear. A $50 processing fee will be added to any damages billed.
HOT TUBS:In the event that a hot tub in a rental property becomes inoperable during your stay, Bear Country Lodging Co. will make all attempts to correct the problem as soon as possible and refund a maximum of $25 per day.
UNIT ASSIGNMENT: In the rare event of booking conflicts with homeowners or unforeseen maintenance emergencies, Bear Country Lodging reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations up to and including the day of arrival, provided the guest is not charged a higher rate than the accommodation type originally reserved.
