An unbelievably exhilarating experience at Sun Peaks are the guided Dog Sled Tours.
At Mountain Man Dog Sled Adventures, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the thrill of driving a dog sled!
Live the dream of feeling the raw power of Alaskan Huskies pulling the sled through the Canadian Winter Wonderland that is the back country of Sun Peaks Mountain Resort.
Your guide will point out signs of wildlife on our private trails that wind through the snowy forest. This special experience will start off by showing you how the dogs live, and then they’ll show you how much they love to run!
All Sleds are guided but guests are given the option to drive the sled during daylight hours; either standing beside the guide, or alone with the guide sitting on the front of the sled. Each tour includes an introduction to Dog Sledding, meeting your team, and feeding snacks upon return.
Guests of all ages are welcome to drive the sled. Children must be 4 years old to participate.
Winter clothing, scarfs, hats, gloves, and snow boots are a must. NO ski boots, or snowboard boots. Hand warmers are recommended.
