Winter Activities For Kids at Sun Peaks
You can find indoor and outdoor activities that you can do with your kids while you are staying at one of our Sun Peaks condo rentals in the winter. The most popular activities include the tube park, the toboggan area, and ski or snowboard lessons.
Tube Park
A fun activity that the whole family can participate in is riding in tubes at Tube Time. This park is unlike any other lift tube ride. It is great fun for the entire family.
You do not have to bring your tube to enjoy the fun at Tube Time because Tube Time will provide you with one. The price for tickets is also a great deal. Everyone aged 6+ can get 2 hours at Tube Time for just $20. All children five and under are free.
Toboggan Area
If you want another fun activity that you can do with your kids, consider taking them to the toboggan area. This activity is fun and free! You must bring your helmet and sled if you choose to toboggan. No rentals will be available.
If you bring everything you need to toboggan, you and your family can have a fantastic time going down the toboggan hill. It is important to note that you can only toboggan in this area.
Sundance Kids Center
If you are looking for something fun for your child between the ages of 3 and 5, look no further than the Sundance Kids Center.Â
Since many activities are not designed for children this young, the Sundance Kids Center is a daycare where you can leave your children where they will be safe and have fun while you are off doing other activities.

If you are planning to bring your family on vacation to Sun Peaks during the summer, there are many activities that the whole family can do together, and there are some for just the children.
Playgrounds & Outdoor Games
When looking for places where your children can play outdoors during the summer season at Sun Peaks, there are a few locations where your kids can have some fun in the sun.
There are two playgrounds that you can find at Sun Peaks Village. The Sun Peaks Plaza, opening September 2023, will include a new playground and a splash park perfect for those warm days. The other playground is located at Sundance Kids Center. This playground is more for small children between three and five.
There are also two game areas, the Upper Village Games Area and the Clock Tower Games Area. You can find some fun outdoor games in both locations that the whole family can play.
Free Family Activities
On select days during the summer, The Sun Peaks Centre is a place to visit with your family if you are looking for things to do in Sun Peaks. With many different activities, the entire family can have a fun time, and this is perfect for days when you have nothing planned, as you can spend a long time having fun.

Mini Golf
Mini golfing at Sun Peaks is a fun activity for the whole family. Located at the Sun Peaks Centre Arena Ice Rink, you and your children can have a great time playing some mini golf. With many courses perfect for little ones, you can have some fun watching even the youngest in your group try to get a hole-in-one.
There are some rules that must be followed when at the activity center. First, no dogs are allowed. Second, all children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Therefore, you cannot just send your children to the activity center unsupervised.
Skate Park
Another fun activity for your kids at the Sun Peak Centre is the mobile skate park. The same rules apply in this area of the center as the mini golf section. It is important to ensure your children are supervised in this area.
Helmets are also mandatory as it is a safety precaution that all who are riding skateboards, scooters, and using skates need a helmet in order to avoid injury. It is also important to note that there is no equipment available for rent. You will need to bring your own if you choose to have fun at the mobile skate park.
